One more exciting i-751 timeline
Filed at Texas lockbox as per new instructions, 10/22 (delivery date), anxiously awaiting the checks to be cashed before the 90 day window runs out (next month)....
I am sure I will be eligible for naturalization before this application is even looked at seriously after the initial scan!

Checks cashed on 10/26, I did not use an attorney this time, so it is confirmed that I can at least follow instructions!!

What is confirmed? Just because they cashed the check doesn't mean you won't get an RFE. All it means is that your petition has been received and will be adjudicated in due course and your status extension letter will be arriving shortly.

Of course. In fact, completely obvious if I may say so. It means that the form is not missing any essential ingredients, that is what has been confirmed, ie signature, checks etc. Normal part of the process.

p.s. that may have come over combative, my point, is, ultimately I have the capability to sign a form and sign a check for the correct amount. It was more self depreciating humor... and it saved me $3000 in attorney fees!

I gave and give you far more credit for being a responsible, educated and detail oriented adult. You are smarter than the average bear, and did more than sign a check and form. You completed the form, gathered evidence, coordinated the mailing, and sent it to the proper place. Kudos! Well Done!
Glad you don't see yourself as less, or as less competent than an attorney. If there are no criminal/medical/or marital issues in your life, then the process is simple and straightforward and that $3,000 is better spent on a vacation, towards a new car or home, or just earning interest in an investment account.

Re: One more exciting i-751 timeline
Update: since the checks were cashed on 10/26, I have not received a receipt, or biometrics appointment letter. Too early to expect these?

No, should be in the mail in another week. Can I-751's be checked online for progress reports with USCIS?

11/19/18, a very tattered and weather beaten biometric appointment letter has arrived!

Re: One more exciting i-751 timeline
Interesting! I filed my i751 in February and since then received the 12 month extension letter, a letter saying biometrics would not be required, and then an updated extension letter to 18 months. Will be travelling to Europe twice by the end of the year with the extension letter so that'll be fun!

Re: One more exciting i-751 timeline
No extension letter for me, i was under the impression (based on hear say, nothing more) that they would stamp my expired CGC at the biometrics appointment to extend status (on the card)...

They might. Depends on whether the center is authorized to do so.
You just filed and haven't had the biometrics yet, so there is still 11 months to go before your extension letter of 12 months expires.
