Default Once I-130 has been Approved

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering, once the I-130 has been approved what are the next set of forms that I will need to prepare (Me being the person being Sponsored by my wife) and what forms will my wife need to fill out ( being the petitioner and USC) and also what forms would a co sponsor need to fill in.

Thank you in Advance.

See this Wiki Guide: http://britishexpats.com/wiki/CR-1

The only thing now your wife will need to submit is an I-864 Affidavit of Support (when NVC asks for it). If you're using a joint sponsor, the joint sponsor also provides an I-864 and backup documents, which go along with your wife's I-864 to NVC. See the I-864 form and instructions at www.uscis.gov. Also the I-864P for the income/asset guidelines.

On your side, you'll need to get your police report. Once NVC assigns a case number, you can get your medical exam done (but not too early because it shortens the validity of the visa ... visa will be valid for 6 months from the date of the medical). There will be the visa application form which is submitted online, and then you notify the embassy in London that you're ready to interview.
