Default once denied.. no more chance !!??

Hi!!
I am from Australia.
About 6 months ago I applied 6 months holiday visa to US but denied..
lady at Sydney consulate said because I have boyfriend in US I
shouldn't go there and coming back with holiday visa I should apply
permanent residency.... So my boyfriend and I talked about it and
deceit to get married in Australia this year.
Now all my paper works has done and waiting him to come to
Australia...
Here is my question...
Is there any effect or problems my first holiday visa denied with
I-130 visa which we are going to apply this time?
on my passport has stamp on and shows 241b....
If anyone know about anything... please give me an advice...
Thank you very much for you time to read this.

Once you have AOS going, you should be ok since you're married
to a USC... why did you get denied entry to the US ?

Your application for a tourist visa was denied because the immigration
officials suspected immigrant intent, and a tourist visa is a non-immigrant
visa.

Since you are now applying for an immigrant visa the previous denial won't
be held against you.

Thank you for your reply
I got denied because I was in a US for 3 months and came back last
Aug...
I applied 6 months holiday visa on Sep (Sydney US consulate officer
said "you just came back and now going again!!")...
When I was in a US, Washington immigration officer advice us to go
back home and apply new visa and tell them our relationship
progressing we need more time together... so I did.
Then Sydney US consulate officer told me that I shouldn't keep going
and back with holiday visa...if I have boyfriend then I should apply
permanent visa...
I really hope this doesn't effect my I-130 visa....

Yeah you should be fine, they probably figured you were gonna use
a non immigrant visa to immigrate and denied you, it is some sorta
formality happenning these days.

Once you're married and go the I-130 route, you're going through
immigration route and there should not be any problem.

I have heard from numerous people, that applying for Green Card
from outside is usually quicker than coming to states and doing it,
I had heard for example that the people who apply for Green Card
in Dubai get better treatment in terms of timing than others who come
to US and go through BCIS... I don't know why it would be different,
but it seems the outside cases are handled by State Department seem
to be quicker... anyone else can add their 2c on this ?

Yes, once a visa number is available, Consular Processing is a much faster
way (months) to obtain a Green Card than going the Adjustment of Status
route (years) in the US.
