O/T: Renewed Driver License
Hi, all. Little O/T, but I thought I'd share this as I was surprised.
Last year, when I had to renew my driver's license, I was issued one that expired one year later, due to my work permit status. This time, as I have my GC, and have to remove the conditions early next year, my card expires in June 2006, I thought my new license would be valid for only one year due to that fact. Lo and behold, a week after going to the DMV and only a half-hour wait (this time scheduling an appt, as last year I didn't, and I waited 8 hours and learned a harsh lesson!) I got my new license, and it's valid for 6 years!!! Woo hoo!!!! Just hoping they haven't made a mistake!
