Default A.O.S. interview balad/Hey Rit!

Hi mates:

Our A.O.S. interview went without a hitch until we were asked to produce my
wife's (fiancee visa) "Supplemental Vaccination" document which I believe we
handed to the port of entry I.N.S. people in the sealed brown envelope.

How in the hell do I get this document back from the government mates? Where
is it? Can we simply go to a private doctor with a new form or must we go to
an I.N.S. approved physician? What's the easiest plan of action? Why were we
asked for this document? It seemed like a ploy to me.

Yours truly,
The Man in Distress about the I...N...S....
as usual....

She will have to go to an INS sanctioned physician for the Supplemental Vaccination Report.

Which office did you use? How long between filing and interview? Were all her immunizations up to date at the time of the K-1 interview. It would appear that more and more local INS offices are requiring this Supplemental I-693 at the time of the interview. Prudent to have a copy of the one from the K-1 physical in your posession as well as in the Brown Envelope from the Consulate.

What exactly did they tell you to do?

Rete,

Thanks for your kind response. Our A.O.S. took place only 5 months
from filing. At the K-1 physical examination in Kiev, Ukraine it was
written on a vaccination form that my wife was current with all
required immunizations. I'm trying to determine where the original
form is from the sealed brown envelope that we gave at the port of
entry to the INS barbarians who ravaged my wife with lust devouring
eyes and inappropriate, nonprofessional comments.

Who has the immunization form from the K-1 medical exam? How can I get
it? My fading memory tells me it went to the INS Service Center?
What's the beef Rete?

As always your faithful servant,
Walt

You can always have a new supplemental done at an INS approved doctor. If she had all the vaccinations already done, I hope that you have kept a copy of the one that was in the envelope or that you have a proof that she is up to date with all the vaccinations [if in Russian, do a translation yourself and bring it to the doctor along with a dictionnary. That is what I did (except that it was French) and it worked!]. Then, you go to the doctor and have them fill out the supplemental vaccination form. I hope that they won't charge you the price of the full medical. Some people mentioned that they charge you less for just the vaccinations form.

Actually, if you had the vaccination form in the brown envelope and you have a copy of it, you might just be able to tell that to the INS barbaries, and tell them you are OK and they lost your paper.

It is also worth a try to call the doctor in Kiev, I did
that to the doc Amsterdam, and he still has copies of it
all, so if needed......
My vaccination papers were *not* in the brown envelope by
the way, the one supplement I had was noted down on my
vaccination papers I have since I was born, and just handed
back to me, but the system might be different in Kiev.

I mentioned this one before: I was told during our interview
that INS lost my brown sealed envelope that I gave to the
officer at the POE..........I just told them that without
that thing I never would have received a K-1 visa or enter,
and that it was their problem.......he agreed, but was going
to speak about it with his supervisor. Didn't here anything
yet, which can mean two things..........
