Hi Group!

I put together this rudimentary NVC time chart with information taken mostly from this NG. I put it in an excel spreadsheet along the lines of the Dave Hollis site. I hope no one minds that I arbitrarily added your information which you've posted on the NG. Thought this might be a little helpful for those of us at NVC. If you like, please post to this thread and I'll add your info.

Oops...

Sorry that turned out so messy...it looked better before I actually posted it. But, the info is there, hopefully you can read it...LOL

i suggest you change the order - so the numbers first, and then the names - would look better.

and i noticed, that you only put on problematic countries for nvc? so you dont need our one day in next day out nvc timetable

I saw a few entries with quick turn-around times on her list. Mine's on there and it was only 2 days.

She will need both ends of the spectrum if the data is to be meaningful. I would encourage all those who've been through the NVC in the past 3 months to give Noorah your data. That's the only way you'll start noticing any trends - if there are any.

Duckie - I have to admit I was focusing on the problematic countries, but as Khadija says, I sprinkled some other countries in there to get a frame of reference. I'll add yours in for sure. It's especially helpful for those who might think their country might be problematic (for example Egypt and Morocco) to see it only took 2 days. Good suggestion about the order of names and times, also...thanks!

Hello..

I'm from Indonesia. My file spent 4 days at the NVC.It arrived on Thursday and NVC forwarded it on Monday.So..only 2 business days actually.

Really glad because as you know Indonesia isn't considered a "safe" country nowadays.lol

Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that even though we're having the interview in
Argentina, my fiance is a Cuban citizen. That may be one of the reasons why
this is taking so long. I would suspect that there may be others who are
having interviews in countries other than their own. Otherwise it is a great
chart. We all need to share info, knowledge is power!!

Thanks for the update Toria! That's a very good point, and I added another column - now there's one for beneficiary's citizenship, and one for interview country. I should have thought of that, since I'm in the same boat! LOL

Now back to work! :-)
