NVC surpassing themselves
 

OK this is just a ranting/whinging post, I'll be honest up front.

My application has been at NVC now since May. First they wait months before falsely telling me that I've not filled in the DS-261. Despite the fact I filed it online and had the confirmation from them. I refiled.

Now I've waited another 6 weeks and they've decided that I nominated my DH as my agent, despite my form saying, no agent chosen, contact me. So of course they sent my DH the next form on my behalf.

Who's betting this'll take another 6 weeks to resolve?

I suggest you don't try. Just get your DH to send you the form, keep things moving etc.

Better yet, print it out online. All forms are available online.

It would be very much appreciated if OP could give an example of "NVC surpassing themselves." In the immigration attorney chat groups there is a lot of bitching and moaning about NVC the past few months and OP's post does not begin to approach the new "normal."

Furthermore deponent sayeth not.
