A W-2 or paystubs. They have to be from an income source in the US or that will otherwise continue in the US once she moves. Income that ends, if she is moving with you, does not count. You can use assets, but you need a large amount and they need to be liquid. The page for form I864 has detailed instructions on this on the USCIS website I linked you to.

Tax returns will be required also. If she hasn't done them in a few years then I believe there is a way the IRS can allow her to catch-up. Others will know more about that.
