Default NOTICE OF ACTION AND APPROVAL TIME IN CALIFORNIA

Does anyone know how long we should expect to wait for a I-129F application if my
fiance is from Canada and I am from California and we sent the application to the
Laguna Niguel INS office? We received our "Notice of Action" 32 days ago and they
said it normally only takes 20-30 days for them to process this type of case.

How much longer should we expect to wait before we hear from the INS?

Please advise.

Thank you.

I dont know about an I-129f but I filed my I-130 at Laguna Niguel and our NOA said
815-825 days to process and we got approved in 39 days. All I can say is periodically
call the number. Ours was updated to approved the same day it was approved.

We are wondering the same thing.....CSC INS received our petition March 11th and
still same "20-30 day recording". I've talked with INS information officers and both
times I've been given different information, first time she said our petition is
being looked at by an officer, second time (a week later) they told me that our
petition has not be looked at yet and would be at least 4 more weeks. She then hung
up on me. After that I was a little pissed, sent letters off to both senator and
congressman explaining situation. Not sure if it will help but seems to be the only
other thing I can do at this point...I'm still hoping that this coming week we will
receive approval - just like the beginning of every new week.

According to Matt Udall's site - http://members.aol.com/MDUdall/sctimes.htm CSC is
currently processing I-129F petitions from 3/21/02. Take Care. Shelley
