No More Large White Envelope
After approval of the I-130 at the US Consulate in London, you are only shipped back your passport with the visa attached inside and a few papers. Apparently, USCIS has caught on to the electronic age and the contents of your file, and assuming the actually hard documents, are sent stateside to the USCIS via courier instead of being given to the intending immigrant to hand carry and give to the agent at the POE.
See TDK's post #5. He is the first to report this new procedure. https://britishexpats.com/forum/marr...essing-923172/ |
