Default No Change on I-751 status

I sent in my application August 27th 09, application accepted Sept 2nd, 09. Almost five months later, when i check my status on the USCIS website it still says initial review. Is this normal? I sent it to the Vermont Service Centre.

I've done Biometrics already.

Don't go by the web-site it can be 12 months behind in updates, and even then you will be lucky if you get one, plus not sure but I don't think you can check the status of a I-751

I-751 applications are the lowest priority for USCIS. You remain a PR during the process. You should soon be receiving the 1-year extension letter in the mail. You can apply for citizenship as soon as you are eligible, even if the I-751 is not yet adjudicated.

Don't worry....I-751's take a while to process. Oh, and the online updates are not always reliable.
