no case # in Packet 3 (K3 Vancouver)

no case # in Packet 3 (K3 Vancouver)
No case # in K-3 Packet 3 received from Vancouver?
Anyone else experience this?
I got packet 3 from Vancouver. I included the K3/K4 instructional sheet (with the checklist), the DS-230 form (which I faxed back immediately), 2 copies of the DS-156 forms, and the medical instructions.
So I went to the medical yesterday, and they asked for the "LETTER FROM THE CONSULATE" with my case # on it!! There was no such letter or information at all. The only case file # I had was the one MTL gave me when I called and they verified they had transferred my info onto Vancouver but she said Vancouver will issue a new case number from them (their's start with VAC? not MTL?) I gave the doctor the MTL one until I get the Vancouver one.
Has this happened to anyone else? I emailed Vancouver for it but I wont be able to receive my medical results until I provide them with it and they seem to take approx 4-5 days to reply to my emails.

If this happend to one of my clients -- I'd give them the MTL number with a brief explanation.
