New Layout Processing Times
Guys,
Can anyone shed some light on how the new layout processing times are being calculated as the old system showed for example "Filed office processing dates for Texas Service Center as of: May 31, 2017" the new system does not have an "as of:"
The old system was always around 3-4 months out of date, if any of this makes sense??!!

Average wait time of recently approved cases one suspects. The OIG report on processing times simply said that they should give a more accurate picture, hence the removal of specifics 'we are processing cases receiving on' information.

Thank you civilservant, lets hope we can take these processing times with a pinch of salt.. Do you think that the date stated would be the oldest that they're working on?

No, I think it's the average of recently completed cases, as I already said. It really could mean anything. For example, it could include cases that were straightforward and took 5 months, but also include cases that went through extended AP because of a hit on the watch list and took 2 years - there's really no way to tell.
