Finally I've got the my EAD card this morning.

This is my timeline.

06/19/2002 NOA 1 of I130 from TSC
10/04/2002 NOA 1 of I129f from MSC
06/04/2003 NOA 2 of I129f
08/25/2003 arrived in Houston, Tx
09/23/2003 EAD receipted by MSC
09/30/2003 biometrics done for EAD
11/06/2003 EAD approved
11/17/2003 I've got my EAD card now

Hello,

After seeing Maggs got the EAD on Nov 14 and looking at the USCIS
website, I called the toll free number and they told me there is
nothing they could do as long as my time line still within the 90 days
limit. She asked me if I got an RFE in the mail which I did not, did
anyone ever get an RFE for EAD ? I don't recall see any posts around
here on that.

In the mean time, I am biting more finger nails .....

I had an RFE right at the beginning but that was because I'd sent a personal cheque and they told me I should have sent a cashiers cheque. Others have sent personal cheques and been ok... didn't like mine for some reason!! I also called the toll free number and they said the same thing to me, that nothing can be done until 90 days. My online approval was 1 week short of the 90 days! I don't think they are going to say no, because the K3 visa comes with work authorisation, it's just that we have to apply for the EAD card once we are here. Hang in there.

Surely you should hear something soon?! I reread Joongsoon's email twice to make sure I didn't misread the date there.

PS I got so excited about the chance they did mass approvals I went and checked our case status.

My EAD got approved on Nov 17, now onto SS and hopefully finding a job...

Thank you Cacti and NYC/Cnda... I most certainly will. I hope everyone else's gets here before Christmas. It would be a great Chrissie prezzie for everyone! Congrats Hung Dao.

I have to say I haven't ever seen myself as one of those posters who says "congrats" to everyone but I can't help it and it's so important to keep everyone's spirits up. So I'm going to say it again... Congratulations to all who have received their K3 EAD's!!! And to those that haven't, I'm sure they won't be that long in coming now. There deifintely seems to be a speed up of approvals lately. When get mine in the post I'll let you know what it says on it and how long it is valid for.

Maggs, I've never been a super cheerleader type either, but I have also noticed that the old team spirit thing works wonders. It seems that having a smaller group within a group does help folks get a perspective for expectations rather than a random posting here and there. There is obviously a pattern developing as we can see from you recent recipients. Looking forward to more "experiences".

Let me see, according to my EAD card;
the card valid from 11/06/03 to expires 08/25/05
11/06/03 is my ead approved date but I have no idea about the expire date, maybe it concerned to date of arrived here, I arrived here 08/25/03.
