We still have not received a letter in the mail. My husband called Customer disService and they don't know anything. He also asked about it when picking up his interim EAD and they didn't know anything either. HUH???

Also we had mailed another change of address form since apparently they didn't get the first one. Still no NOA regarding that either. What's going on?? It's so frustrating to do everything you're supposed to and still feel like you're in the wrong.

Anyway, now he's just going to work on his resume and start looking for jobs. Perhaps someone will be willing to hire him before he gets his SSN. If not he'll just have to keep waiting.

Whilst there I asked about the time it would take to apply and the man said "Just bring in your EAD and we will do it there and then and should be 10days to 2 weeks? I said I heard that I had to wait a couple of weeks before coming in and he said, NO NO just bring it in no problem.

Did you have to go on a specific "walk-in day"? What time did you get there? How long did you have to wait? Did you both get to go in? (I had to wait while he did Biometrics. Luckily that was super-fast though. )

And just to check (because I'm paranoid), you are able to get Interum 91 days after your NOA... Not 91 *working* days after NOA... right?

Let's suppose I do. The interim EAD is good for a month.. as I mentioned before.. MSC is backlogged.. why if I don't get the year card in the mail by the time the interim EAD expires?, That would suck!!
