I don't fit in with the "still waiting", but thought I'd post my timeline to give you all hope that the waiting does really end!
06/12/02 Mailed I-129F to NSC
06/18/02 1st NOA
11/11/02 Fiance' arrives in US for a visit - POE Seattle
11/19/02 Contacted Congressman to check into case status
11/27/02 2nd NOA
12/13/02 Rcvd packet 3 (fiance' doesn't rcv until 12/28 when he returns from holiday)
01/09/02 Mailed Packet 3 forms to Consulate in Amsterdam
01/22/02 Mailed checklist
01/25/03 Rcvd interview appt. in mail
02/05/03 Medical & Xray appt. scheduled
02/12/03 Interview - Visa Rcvd same day
03/06/03 Fiance' arrives in US - Amsterdam to Chicago (no work stamp at Chicago) and then Chicago to Seattle
It takes A LONG time to get through Nebraska but once we did things really took off from there. Use the time you have to wait to gather police certificates and any other evidence you will need for the next step. It helped safe us a lot of time once we got our 2nd NOA.
Good luck to all those still waiting! It seems so hard now, but it is definately worth it in the end when you can finally be with the one you love.
