My Fiancee just heared that she has to file her papers to the Nebraska office. Have any of you heared about the office there is it quick or slow, and are there things that they are really picky of ? Any tips tricks and so on are very welcome.

Re: Nebraska And K ?
I went thru Nebraska as my wife's state (Iowa) isn't setup for applications.
Pretty much the same as the rest of them, just hope you don't have to visit for any reason. Me and my wife spent 6 hours queing in the freezing cold just to get to the door to be told that we'd be directed to the wrong office.
Also had a bad experience where i was told something by Nebraska which was wrong, and ended up souring the whole process.

Hi
I am going through the NSC and my First NOA stated that it would take 70 to 100 days to process this case. Well here it is pass 100 days and nothing. Don't make any plans until your fiancee get her visa in her hands. My fiancee quit her job because we were antiscipating her being here with me this month but the NSC has not kept up to there words. Good luck

read the recent articles on NSC -They are really sucking these last months,
BIG backlog. If you can afford to move to Vermont you'l be approved in one
week. Nebrasca 4-5 months .
Good luck

I cannot understand how unjust the timeline is, 10 days in the East, 100+ in
the West. Where is that logic?
Forgot dealing with the Government!

Good advice on not giving up a job. I didn't give up mine till I had
that visa in hand. Although you have a 99% chance of getting the
visa, anything can happen. I never take anything for granted. I
informed my place of employment when I received my interview letter
from the Consulate that there would be a good chance of getting my
visa but didn't want to give them official notice until I had it in
hand. They were really good about it.
