Re: Nebraska
This is a very good question. I still have not heard a satisfactory answer
from anyone after spending 4 1/2 months waiting for my I129F approval.
Does anyone have any ideas? Even though I managed to escape the clutches of
Nebraska I am still interested in an explanation.

Well parlty it has to deal with Nebraska gets alot more petitions then the other 3 service centers. Nebraska handles almost half of the states! So with that it is gonna slow things down from time to time.

Workload is part of the reason. Compare the standard line on how long it takes to process NSC vs the other centers. Why isn't NSC staffed for the workload? <insert answer>
From what I have pieced together, NSC was the pilot for bringing up IBIS this spring. That took resources away from processing petitions to figuring out how it worked (or didn't) and then what to do with a 'hit'.
Also, when MSC fell so far behind on K-3's, NSC got robbed of staff to help out. Again, we took the hit.
This may or may not be true, it's just what I recall from different posts. Bottom line is, where you live makes a big difference on what kind of service you get from INS.
