Default NBC getting slower

I have just checked the online processing dates for NBC. They are still slowing down; over 14 days they have moved their processing date by 8. If movement continues at this rate, my fiance and I (we are marrying on 29th May and filing K3 on 2nd June) won't get NOA2 until around February/March 2005.

Please; does anyone know of any reasons why this is happening?

I don't know how well I would deal with being away from him for so long.

Is there *anything* that can be done to speed this up? Petition? Congressmen? Senators? Governors? President? Vice President? Anyone?

I'm not getting married to be forcibly separated from my husband. I'm marrying him to spend my Life with him. That doesn't include 4500 miles of bureaucrocacy, red tape and managerial inefficiency.

You should take a look at the Anchorage Alaska times. AOS in under 90 days.

Just make sure your paperwork is impecable and add a list of all papers send. Doesn't mean that they wont loose something, but avoiding RFE has to be job one. Dealing with Congressional stuff hasn't helped me any. It's been over 200 days since I filed, since MSC/NBC managed to loose my Marriage Certificate.
