N-400 Processing at TSC
I am happy to report that INS has improved its efficiency. I had just applied for
naturalization about two months ago. My friend told me it took him about 6 months
from receipt to interview. I thought it was pretty good already compared to what we
have heard before that naturalization could take up to a year. Well, I just got a
notification for interview which is scheduled at about 4 months after the receipt
date. I think it is very impressive for INS. I guess our tax dollars and
application fees have been invested well that INS shortened the processing cycle.
