Excellent - that was my only question! Thank you. I actually thought it was a pretty easy form to fill in, by USCIS standardss...

Cool - your timeline is only a couple of days off mine - I received my NOA on the 25th. We should be getting our biometrics appointments almost at the same time.

Am I weird for being slightly excited about this?

That's funny - only the other day my son said he wanted to have me deported as well. Must be something going round!!

He then changed his mind when I said I'd be taking his computer and all the games with me ;)

I do miss it from time to time. Especially the food - I'd murder a fry right now too.

I miss the pubs in Carrick and Belfast as well sometimes, and playing snooker with my mates.

I went to Queen's with a few guys from Limavady - never been there myself though.

Update: Martin got an email this morning from USCIS (exactly a week from having his biometrics done) saying that his case has been moved to his local office and they will be notifying him about the interview. So I guess a road trip to Jacksonville will be coming up soon!

Question about the Civics Test!

Example what is the name of the Vice President of the United States?

* Joseph R. Biden Jr
* Joe Biden
* Biden

Do you have to write all 3 or just the one!

Example 2 Why do some states have more Representatives than other states?

* (because of) the states population
* (because) they have more people
* (because) some states have more people.

Do you have to memorize all 3 of the above when they all mean the same thing! :confused:

I read the study book the other day and I took it to mean that any of those would be acceptable answers.

lolz.. Any of the three are correct answers. Any ONE of them. As you note, they all mean the same thing.

DH remembered his answer to the first example as "Duck! Cheney" since it was right after the veep shot his friend in the face.

You have to give these answers orally, not write them, btw. However, if you're like me, the act of writing them down during study might help you remember them later. :)

Good luck with the study, I had trouble with the rule of law, but it clicks into place. The other one was remembering who my State senator and representative were.

Had to bump the thread to report that my biometrics have been scheduled for April 19th! Got the letter on Friday. This seems to be going way quicker than my I-751 did.

Hope the weather's nice, I might make it a full day off work and not just the morning . . .

I'll be going to Waukegan, probably because I live in the far northern 'burbs. It's only a half hour drive in traffic at the most though, which is nice.

Last time I was there I was in and out in no time. Was a bloody nice day that day as well if I remember correctly.

We are lucky as well, my Biometrics office is right in town 6 miles aways, I feel sorry for folk that have to take a day off work and travel for hours poor sods.

Yeah, I've read a couple of posts where people have insane distances to travel to get theirs. Even if I had to go to the Naperville office, it is only an hour's drive for me.
