Re: N-400 Approval in Phoenix
I could answer 2... so i am screwed too. I play the trivia challange on here 99% on a daily basis. Why doesnt someone set up a daily trivia on citizenship questions! To help those of us that have time to get up to scratch.

Forgot you two know each other in RL.
The test is not a piss as so eloquently stated. It is harder than the old test if only because the questions are not only different but require thought rather than just memorization.
But, Poppy, you will ace it, Hon.

When we first walked out of the USCIS building, Sadegh said the sentence he had to write was "Where is Texas?" Then later on he asked me is you spell "pay" P-A-Y. I said yes, why? He said good, I got it right. I said on what? He said oh, oops...the sentence I had to write was "When do you pay taxes?" Not "Where is Texas". LOL He was so excited after the interview that he spaced out what he had just written...he remembered the details later.

For an average English-speaking person, I would reserve yourself a couple of hours study time in the week before the interview. It really shouldn't take any longer!

The test is indeed "a piece of piss" if your native language is English. If not, it could be much harder work.

Great news, I knew he would make it.
Hope you both enjoyed the night out and only a few more weeks watching the mailbox.

Fantastic news, Rene.....I stayed up as long as I could last night looking for you and have had a long day today (can't check the site from work, either....) but the news was worth waiting for!
Just think, in a couple of weeks you can haul your tub of USCIS stuff up to your attic too!

I agree. The hard part for Sadegh wasn't learning the correct answer, it was learning all the new vocabulary, reading, writing, understanding the question, understanding the answer, and it took him a good 3 months of studying to learn it all. Even though his spoken English was passable before, all this governemt and history vocabulary was new to him. He did an awesome job!
