Default N-400 Application and change of address

Hi
I am sending my N-400 application for naturalization now but there is a
strong chance I will be moving adress to Boston from New York. I know the US
INS Service Center is the same at Vermont, but, would the change in address
be a problem at all?
Am I better off to file after I move address?
Thank you
J.Y

Go to

https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/ptimes.jsp

Compare the dates for Boston and NY. Depending on where you are in NY,
Boston wins. Also files tends to get misplaced with Address change.

You can decide based on this information.

I think Neemo is right. I would be worried too about the N-400 getting lost or misplaced.

However, before you can file from your new address you need to live there for at least 3 months. Below is the text that I copied from the BCIS homepage:

"An applicant is eligible to file if, immediately preceding the filing of the application, he or she:
[........]
has resided within a state or district for at least three months ".

I second the others. Move first, then file.
