My great AOS experience in San Diego
I filed for AOS based on marriage to a US citizen in June. In San Diego,
there is a pilot program that gives everyone an interview within only 90
days of filing. So, almost exactly 90 days later, we went for the interview
in Chula Vista. We'd hired a lawyer and had prepared a huge stack of
documents, life insurance, 401k, shared title on condo, photo album etc. The
officer was very jovial, the interview lighthearted, he asked to see photos,
who the people in the photos were etc. The whole thing lasted for 20 minutes
or so. This was Sept. 21st. Sept 29th I was approved for permanent resident
status !!!
So, if you can, move to San Diego and file here !
