MSC, Read MISSOURI I-129F K-3 APPROVAL!!
Hey folks!
Well, I'm sitting here now, wife just got safely across the Cnd/US border @
Alexandria bay between ON and NY, and I thought I'd give MSC a try, just for the hell
of it. Well, I called...our K-3 has been approved via the automatic recording! :-D
The approval date was Aug. 30, just one day after our I-130 got approved (on the
29th), pretty freaking weird *rolls eyes*
So, now it's a race...will the K-3 arrive in Montreal first? Or will the I-130?
Apparently, both DO go through the NVC, so who knows. Honestly, I would love to
finish out the I-130 first, provided it doesn't take TOO much longer than the K-3. I
called about our I-130, they told me that the package (3? I have no clue what package
number it is for the I-130) has already been shipped out to me and it should be here
by this coming monday. So...what does this mean? Rete? Should I just call the
consulate and tell them to forget about the K-3? Or, even if I get the package, still
a chance that the K-3 is faster? *head is spinning*
Here's our dates:
I-129F (K-3):
Service Center: Missouri First NOA (receipt date): May 20, 2002 Second NOA (via
auto-recording): Aug 30, 2002
I-130:
Service Center: Nebraska First NOA (receipt date): April 20, 2002 Second NOA:
Aug 29, 2002
@_@ <-- "i'm going crazy" emoticon :-P I have NO clue what to push for...I-130 would
be MUCH better...no need to deal with the INS again for 2 years until the conditions
are removed, then another year later, I can file for my N-400 :-D

Re: MSC, Read MISSOURI I-129F K-3 APPROVAL!!
Evan,
Congrats on the approval Sounds like things may be getting better at MSC but then I read of others that still have dates back in April that are waiting approval...who knows, lol.
As for your questions re: I-130 or K3, well, can't be of any help there. Maybe an e-mail to one of these lawyers may be of some help shedding light on things.
Best of luck to you both!!!
