I'm not counting my chickens when having a NOA dated 17th October I see 19th October being approved. I am just hoping I don't end up like those poor souls back from August and beyond?!?!

Say that, I have been living 3500+ miles from my boyfriend/now husband for 7 years now so what's a few more months)

Hi Nick,

I guess I am not the only with a discrepancy between the online NOA
and the actual paper notice. I never pursued finding out why, since
my notice was off by one day. The info obtained over the phone gives
my NOA as Nov 1 also.

Also, a 1st NOA of 18/10/2002 was approved on 30/01/2003 (very similar
to the AILA report).

Well, looks like I've got another 2 months to go (if INS can keep at
the current turtle's pace and doesn't downshift to a snail's pace) so
I'm off to Europe to bide my time.
