Does anyone know if this is true for the Moscow Embassy ?
1. The I-134 Affidavit of Support is no longer required.
2. You must have all of the following documents; 1040 Tax return with W2's Bank
Statements Letter fron Employer Pay Statements
I was originally told all I needed was last years 1040 with the I-134 The other
items were if my income wasn't sufficant, but it is more than sufficant......any
help would be greatly apreacated.....

Mike,
My fiancee is going for her Moscow interview shortly. The I-134 is no longer
required. If you have it prepared, no problem, use it. All you really need at that
stage is a letter from your employer and and your W-2 from last year, or a copy of
your tax return.
Some people are going for their interviews now, so we should see some very recent
comments very shortly.

On the Doc Steen site in the Russia Pages, there is a copy of a recent e-mail
from the Moscow consulate, telling what is needed in lieu of the affidavit of
support. Alvena

You do not need an I-134, but can be used if you like.
You absolutely do not need any bank records unless they support a claim of income. If
that can be done with tax returns, then you do not need to share your banking
business with them at all.
A letter from your employer is a good idea too, if it can be obtained easily enough.
This is explained on the embassy website at
http://usembassy.state.gov/moscow/wwwhci4.html
