Default more questions

After my U.S. fiancee files the I-129F and I get my instructions from the consulate
in Canada... how long do I have to schedule the interview? Or do they just give me a
non-negotiable interview date? For those who were processed in Vancouver how long was
the waiting list for scheduling an interview?

Secondly, when should I start collecting documents like the police record? After the
consulate tells me what I need to bring to the k1 interview? Or should I start doing
that now? Everything seems to take forever to be processed so I want to be prepared.

Lastly, for those who filed from Canada, how much does the medical cost? Including
immunizations.

Again, thanks to everyone for their help.
