Default More London DCF questions

I'm close to sending off the I-130, the two G325As, photos and documents. I
have a question for previous London filers: On the website it says to send
in copies of the documents, not the originals. So, for the birth and
marriage certificates, does this mean photocopies, or does it mean the
copies as supplied by the county clerk? I'm kinda stuck because the birth
certificate my wife has was issued in 1975 and since we're here its going to
be difficult to get another copy.

Second question: On the G325A's at the bottom of each page it has a block
saying APPLICANT. Do we put the US Citizens name here on both forms, or the
name of the person at the top of the G325A?

Thanks!

Jamie

In the instructions it says "give them a copy". Photocopy is a copy. So that
is the way I interpreted it. I am sure you will get a better answer from
others here.

But you second question is one I haven't even thought about, and if the
answer is the USC should be in that block on both sets of G325A's, I have
got a problem. I will be anxiously awaiting other responses to your post.

Doh. The web page (http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_web/ins/i130filing.htm)
says "Photocopies of required documentation are acceptable and are
preferred". Well that answers that question.

Still dont have an email for the I130 people at the embassy.

I rang the embassy and they said that you put the same name at the bottom of
the G325a form as you put at the top of the form.
