MMR vaccine - Medical
Does anyone know whether one dose of MMR vaccine is sufficient for the CR/IR1 visa? I did not have a Mumps vaccine as a child and now needed to have the combined MMR vaccine (one dose so far and now contemplating whether it makes sense to have a second dose). I been reading previous posts regarding the medical assessments in London but can't find the answer. Your answers are very much appreciated. Thank you.

I don't recall having to have anything beyond my MMR to satisfy that requirement, although this could be because I was within a certain time of having had the original shot (less than 10 years)

It's a some years back now, but when I did my IR-1 application my GP wanted to do a course of MMR which wouldn't be complete until after my medical/interview. So I just went to the medical and paid for a single MMR there and then. It was about £25 if I recall correctly but that was in 2010 so it's probably more now.

Thank you for your responses. I have cancelled my 2nd dose appointment. Hope one dose will be enough to satisfy the requirements of CR/IR1 visa.

A little update: I changed my mind and last week had a second dose of MMR vaccine as I have read somewhere I would have to have a second dose anyway. I did and it's one less thing to worry about
