Default Mistake on g325

Here is what happened, I know it shouldn't have been, but did happen
nevertheless. Please help me out finding a solution, and if you have
any idea please let me know what can be the effect of this mistake.

here is what it is: when I applied for my wife's K3 visa, I filled out
her G325 as well. I made a mistake on her mother's last name. She did
not notice it either and signed it. She is facing the interview soon,
and we just found it out (looking at the saved pdf and other files). I
think its worth mentioning here, the last name I gave and the actual
last name, none of them are her father's last name.

What can be the effect of it? What should I do now?

You can explain the mistake at the AOS interview. It shouldn't be a problem.

Best Wishes,
Rene
