Brenda,

My K-3's first NOA was May 20th, 2002.

Our approval notice was Aug 30.

I just recieved packet 3 from the Montreal Consulate 2 days ago, Sept 27.
Here's hoping. Yours shouldn't be too far off. Missouri is picking up the
pace and has cleared most of it's backlog. Good luck!

Recently received my hard copy approval notice.

1st NOA 5/24/02
Approval NOA dated 9/18/02, received 9/24/02 and then FedEx'd to London Embassy.

I think MSC is picking up the pace and catching up with backlog. You guys shouldn't be waiting much longer. I checked every day, sometimes 2x or 3x per day and even heard here of others that had the 1st NOA after mine approved before me (got discouraged), but then approved.

A good rule of thumb appears to be adding 3 1/2 to 4 months from your 1st NOA date and that's when they're processing.

Best of luck and keep us informed of when those approvals arrive
