Default Michigan Doctors medical list

Ok, this might sound wierd, but we all know how wierd the INS can be. I'm a student
in Michigan, but filing in Utah because thats where my husband lives, and we commute
back and forth. Well I did my medical in Michigan, so the INS Office in Utah wants me
to submit one of those official doctors list that the INS sends to you when you order
the forms online by mail. They want to make sure that the Civil Surgeon that I used
is on the list of approved INS doctors. Didn't make sense to me then, or now. Well
I've ordered several 693 forms online by mail, thinking ok, they'll come with the
list like they are supposed to, but instead I get the form, and a slip that says to
call the 1-800 to get the list. So I guess I want to know if any there are any
Michigan people out there who still have an "official"(from the INS) Michigan doctors
list, that will be willing to part with it, so I can give them the "proof" that they
want, and see that it is one of their approved Civil Surgeons. I stay far away from
the INS office in Detroit, thats why I'm unable to go there physically and get it.

My suggestion is to call the 1-800 number and this time request a list of doctors and explain to them the reason why you need it.

Or you can try here:

Thanks for the response Rete, I'm going to wait and see if more medical forms come in
by this Friday, I ordered even more early last week, hoping at least one will have
the list. I called the 1-800 # and its an automated #, and I specified the "Michigan
doctors list" along with the regular form. If I don't get it by Friday then I'll have
to find my way out to the Detroit iNS office to pick it up on Friday morning.
