Medical in London - Not seen my GP since 2006!
Hi all,
I've just booked my medical for the CR1 visa in London. I am required to provide general medical notes from my GP. Problem is I haven't actually had to see him since 2006! I had a thorough medical last year with Bupa and have comprehensive results. What should I bring to the medical examination?
Any help gratefully received!
Thanks in advance,
Joe

I would suggest that you visit your GP for a routine exam ASAP. You can ask for your medical information at the same time.

I agree. I was in a similar situation, having not seen or even registered with a GP since I left the Army in 2008. I visited my local GP before interview and they had access to everything, including a basic summary and vaccination records from time spent in the military.

I contacted the medical people and told them I hadn't seen my GP in years and was advised just to bring my medical records.

Also, if you ever decide to get life insurance not having a good record of seeing a GP/PCP is a red flag.
