May13th inetrview/K1 visa Moscow/Packet update
We recieved our packet yesterday the 8 th. after 10 days from the time
it was sent from embassy. So just to update the process. We recieved
our interview date about March 26 th. Than they sent out the packet
with all necessary info. included in the packet. We did not know we
had an interview till we called to check on our security check. The
told us at the Department of State the security check was complete.
Than two days later our MOS number showed up on the Moscow embassy web
site. Than I called the embassy to verify info.

You've been there and done that. I hope you still hanging around to
see my question. How did you find out your file was sent to embassy? I
got my MOS# from [email protected] and called the $1.6 line, they
told me that they HAD our file. Does that mean our file was sent to
embassy already? Only 10 days? That's encouraging. Your message
answered my other question: it is the DoS not Moscow doing the
security check. How do you contact DoS to check on security check
status?
We got NOA2 on 1/21. I saw folks behind us jump ahead with their
interview scheduled. I don't cry and scream everyday like some in this
group, but I am getting really inpatient. Thanks for your info in
advance and good luck to your fiancee's interview.

VISA Delivery??
Hi!
Your fiance had her interview yesterday. I expect everything went well and she is approved. Do you know when she wil be getting her visa? Any word on that? My fiance just got her approval an hour ago (May 14th) but we are hearing negative opnions from the consulate staff as to how long it will take to get the visa issued. I hope you can give me some insight on this.
