marrying a US citizen
I am looking to marry a US citizen and I currently reside in the UK. Can anyone tell me the most cost effective and quickest legal way this is possible?
Thank you in advance.

This is probably better being asked in the marriage section.
Are you planning on moving to the US after being married or they planning on moving to the UK? May want to check out the wiki above
Sure someone will move it soon

Research K1 and CR-1 visas and make your decision based on which scenario works best for you.

The comparison chart in the Wiki should be helpful to you. Basically you can choose between a K-1 fiance visa (apply for visa first, then marry) or a CR-1 Immigrant Visa (marry first, then apply for visa).
Cost-wise, it comes out to about the same either way.
Time-wise, the K-1 is a couple of months faster than the Immigrant Visa.
Biggest pro for the Immigrant Visa is that you become a PR upon entry to the USA and can work from Day 1.
