Default Marrying in San Francisco

Hi,

We're getting married in SF on Tuesday, (me a Brit on H1-B, him USC), and will be filing directly for AOS,AP and EAD at the SF office. Does anyone have an idea how long it's currently taking for AP and EAD approval? My attorney says we can no longer file in person only by mail. Also, apparently I have to have the medical, vaccinations etc beforehand, does anyone have experiences with the doctors, timeline etc.

All information, hints etc gratefully received.

Here's a site with information on AOS experiences, including San Francisco.

Good luck

I was on h1b when filing AOS. I didn't use a lawyer. SF district office changed the rules that you can't file in person about 10 days or so ago. Medical took 2-3 business days and could make an appointment on the same day.
