I am going to Thailand September to meet my girlfriend. We have talked
about marriage and living in USA. Her friend said it shouldn't be a
problem for her to come back with me to get married.I feel it is not
that easy. What would be the best way, and legal way to bring her back
for marriage? I feel the G325 A and I 129-F forms would probably be
the correct, although longer process. Could she come here on a tourist
visa, or would immigration frown on that?

Fastest way is a fiancé visa, which you would need to file a K-1 petition
first, but if you get married first that's no longer an option. Once
married your options are a spouse visa or a K-3 visa.

you might be able to get away with the tourist visa, but immigration definitely frowns on using visas for other purposes.
I would definitely go with the fiance visa (K-1) or a K3 marriage visa. That is the quickest way, you just have to adjust status once to enter the USA, which is a bit of a hassle, but at least you will be together!

Bob,
You have the right idea - you need to file an I-129f petition with the USCIS and, after it is approved, your fiancee needs to apply for a K1 visa with the consular section in Bangkok.
It is rare for a young Thai woman to be approved for a B2 (tourist) visa.
Have you met this woman before, or will you be meeting her for the 1st time in September? If you've met before you can get started with the I-129f petition right away.
I recommend that you visit the Thai-Farang Board at Delphi Forums. Many people there have had first-hand experience with the consular section in Bangkok.
