Marry during Adjustment of Status

I am applying my green card based on employment. I have just filed the adjustment of
status (I485) for myself only. It is in processing now. If I am getting married now, can
my husband get the Greed Card with me before I485 is completed? Do I need to withdraw my
application and add his application? What is the procedure? If anyone has the same
experience before or knows this situation, would you share your experience with me.
Thanks in advance.

Your I-485 will not be affected.
The procedure depends where your husband is. If is is outside the US, he can possibly come
to the US as an H-4 (if you are an H-1B) and then file his own I-485. If that is not an
option, he has to wait until your I-485 is approved, and then apply at a US consulate
abroad for a follow-to-join immigrant visa.
If your husband is lawfully in the US, he can simply file his own I-485 based on yours.
And if your priority date is before April 30, 2001 (which it obviously is for you), he can
even do that if he is illegally in the US - he will have to pay the $1000 fine, though.
