Default Married Name on Passport Now
Hi Folks !

I meant to ask this question a while back .....

When Jeff filed my petition I sent copies of my passport which was in my previous married name since then i have got a new passport now in my married name...just wondering if this will be a problem at NVC ? although they will have documents showing name change.

All advice appreciated

I agree, it won't be an issue. They will be able to see why your name changed because they can see a copy of your marriage certificate, which is a valid reason for changing one's name.
