Hello, and thanks for taking your time and reading this.
My wife and I have an interview coming up, she is a citizen but until
last year she was listed as her father's dependent. I noticed on the
letter from USCIS on what to bring for the interview that they require
the past 3 income taxes. she only has the 2006 returns. On this case
whats the appropriate thing to do since we don't have it for
2004-2005. ?
thanks for the replies

Your wife is your financial sponsor on the I-864. As sponsor she needs to include the past three years tax returns. Of course, she cannot supply what she doesn't have, however, she will have to supply a reason why she did not file taxes for the missing two years. I.e, non-working student, etc.
Remember to bring with you to the interview the most recent tax return of your co/joint financial sponsor. I'm assuming this is one of your in-laws. If they have already file their 2006 return, bring a copy of that. Also if her father or mother is your co/joint sponsor, you can point out to the examiner that on their tax returns that your wife was listed a dependent.
