Default Marriage Interview

Hi, I would like to know a little bit more about the personal
interview I can expect to go through when my fiance petitions for me.

How long does it last, what kinds of things they will ask me, etc.

From brief bits I've read, I see that I need to take phone bills with
calls to each other on it, plane tickets for proof we've met in past 2
years and also photos. My fiance and I also talk on MSN messenger a
lot and I have all of the conversations saved and recorded -would
this be worth taking along too?

Will I be asked to explain the basics of how we met and stuff. I also
heard they can get personal - how often we get intimate!

Will I be interviewed in a room or just on the regular desk at the
embassy in the UK?

What would be considered a "Red Flag" in the interview.

Thanks!

The Embassy bit was the easy bit, all they seem to be interested in was that we had met, and then he found a photo of us that my wife had submitted and that was basically it. Nobody else that was there on the same day had any problems either. I chatted with the other people waiting, but take a book.

Have a look on www.visajourney.com, most people post there interview details and I have never seen one from the UK who had any issues.

I think I was most worried about the Medical, no reason, just something out of your control.

That never goes down too well.

Birthdays and anniversary's is another one, but if you get interviewed by a Male Officer you might get away with these.

Hi,
The INS interview: My husband & I got married after we met together
for only about 3 months from internet, though we truly care for each
other and both want to share our lives together - we just knew right
away that we meant for each other. But will the INS understand that,
or they will be hard on us (we will send out the forms out to the
local CIS this Monday 8/23/04 - IS it best to mail the forms or apply
the forms in person? - I heard that it will 2-3 months for the INS to
start process the forms which they receive by mail)
