Marriage based I485 Processing ARLINGTON, VA , pl help
Is there anybody still waiting for 18 months or more for AOS
interview/fingerpring with I30-I485 application filed in local
ARLINGTON, VA office.The receipt notice says 20 months and i haven't
heard anything in 18 months.

I think you should have heard by now. The AILA estimates are now closer to a
year for Arlington. I filed in May 2000 and got my fingerprint notification
in August 2001 - the original interview date was sent a little later but
they sent it to my old address and I never got it.
BTW, Arlington suck at keeping track of change of address notifications so
if you've moved they probably sent the notice to the old address.
Although you haven't yet hit the 20 months yet, you might want to go back in
anyway. Or perhaps send an enquiry letter and see what's up.

We submitted our I130/AOS on 30dec02 and in just about a week, a notice for fingerprinting came in the mail yesterday. So, that's pretty efficient, I would say.

I filed for AOS in April 02 and my AOS interview is this Thursday (Jan 9,
2003). I got my interview date 3 weeks after filing in Arlington.
