Default Mailing out Visa's

My fiancee just had her interview in Moscow on Sept 25 and was approved. The told her that they would be mailing it to her within 2 weeks. Has anyone heard about mailing out visas. Everything I heard says that you have to pick them up. She said anther girl there was told same thing and would mail to home after security check.

Since people have been waiting since July 22 for them, I doubt an
interview
of Sept 25 will result in one within 2 weeks. Yes, when they start
issuing them
again, they should mail them. It would be really cruel to force people
back to that
mess to just pick it up.

Cruel or not we have to go back and pick them up too from the Ankara
consulate in Turkey. They will not post any thing. I emailed them and they
even need to have the "refusal" sheet back after the security check is
done....

What refusal sheet? The issue was for approved visas in Moscow, and the
email
response I got from consulmo disagreed about needing to pick them up.

I think they are going through "security check" too.
Our Visa was approved too. We are going through "Admin. Processing," or
"security check." Instead of giving us the visa in the same day, they handed
out a blue sheet which states under 221(g) we have to wait 6 to 8 weeks or
more and based on the answer from D.C. they will issue a visa. However, we
have to go back to the Embassy with my fiancée's passport, this blue sheet
in order to get her visa.
