Louisville EAD time...
This is my first time posting here, so howdy! I hope someone out there can help.
I'm a British citizen who recently got married to a US citizen while in the States on a B-2 visa. We will be applying for adjustment of status to permanent resident in the INS Louisville office.
I will of course have to work while in the US, so my question is: does anyone know approximately how long it takes the Louisville office to issue an Employment Authorization Document after the I-485 etc. has been filed in person? Thanks guys.

According to the experience page in July of 2002 it was one week.

Re: Louisville EAD time...
As Rete said below and I guess she is talking about mine (I think) it
took us just 1 week the only hassle we had was we lived at the
opposite end of KY and had to travel over 4 hours 2 weeks in a row(and
they would not change it either after explanations), the second time
for a 8am EAD appointment that took all of 15mins. Hope this has
helped!
