Loss of passport
We recently moved home and are coming to terms that a number of important
documents including passports may have been lost. There are AOS stamps in my
passport and although I have my original permanent resident card, won't I need
the passport's stamps to be adjusted?
Has anyone else had to have their foreign passport reissued here and what
problems may arise? How long could it take for the British consulate to get me
a new one?
Thanks.

If you have a valid I-551 card, there is no need for an I-551 stamp in
your passport.
