London Provisional file
I just received an email from the London Consulate stating that the Police
Certificate is good for one year for their purposes. They also stated that it is
possible to open a provisional working file even before I file the petition. I
thought this was great news, as we are still waiting for my future husbands final
divorce decree.

Glad to hear London will open provisional file
My U.K. wife is trying to open one for K3 as I still haven't heard back on our I-129F (waiting final approval) from Missouri Service Center...(First NOA 22 May 2002). I e-mailed London Embassy back in May from Texas (where I live) and they said "no way", but hope with the letter from my wife, they'll allow it to at least try and expedite things on her end.
Can you provide e-mail address that you sent request off to for your provisional file??
