London Field office closing question.....

As I understand the London field office will close possibly in April.....

How will this affect those that have already had their I-130 approved and only need to compete the medical and interview? Will they still be doing those services?

We were wanting to wait until May/June to go to medical and interview as we will not be moving to US until Oct/Nov and we have to follow the 6 month medical rule...However we will be going to the US in September to secure an apartment, car etc... so my UK husband can “activate” his residency then and we will return to the UK to close down all our bits and pieces.....

Thanks for any information!

Re: London Field office closing question.....

The USCIS Field Office only handled the I-130. The file was then passed to the Consular section for the visa application, of which the medical and interview are part. Only the USCIS Field Office is closing, everything else remains in London.
