Default London

we *would* be down there about then, but we're going to Texas then! We got what my husband described as 'packet 3' forms last weekend. We dont want to send them off straight away for fear the interview might be scheduled while we're away! I suspect our date will be late April sometime. I reckon we could have done it in 3 months or less if it werent for:

our 2 1/2 week holiday
2 weeks delay b/c of London sending it back because of the fee.

We filed bang-on Jan 23rd, so while it was cheaper for us, we got lobbed with a 2 week delay!

No, i've been fortunate enough to have done all that and have now been in the States for about 5 weeks. Just wanted to say good luck to you, so long as you have all your paper work in order it should be a stroll, I know you will worry otherwise and its easy for me to say..................but don't.

Don't forget to visit the toilet at Dr Phelans office it will be your only chance to join the exclusive UK toilet appreciation club.

All the very best.............Rob

Thanks Rob! I'm sure it will be a breeze as I know I've really done my homework - those 4 months on Google have really payed off I think =) Still got some last minute pangs of doubt but I know its just nerves. We're a fairly straight-forward case so I don't expect any hiccups.

As for the loo at Dr Phelans, I'm trying to think whether I should smuggle a camera there for a photo but it might be frowned upon... Thats all I'd need - getting done for a "moral turpitude" before I even have the interview!!

Will try to get some pics of the Docs, the road, the Embassy etc and put up a page about our experience on the day, etc, just to give a little something back to this excellent forum.

What is your timeline please?
Was wondering specifically when the American partner first filed the
paperwork, and how long it has been from returning your information

Thanks in advance =)
