London DCF interview - medical or interview first
I read somewhere that some people get the interview first, and others get the medical first.
I've received confirmation of my interview date by email from the Embassy. I want to book flights and hotels, but my choice of hotel will be based on whether the interview or the medical is first. I am sure I read somewhere it is alphabetical, and thats how they decide how gets the interview first and vice versa. I've searched a few posts on the Forum, but my London geography is almost non existent. If anyone could advise me of a decent hotel near either the Embassy or Doctors, I would appreciate it. Also, how far apart are they - I read somewhere a 10 mnute walk? |

John
Some folks will have their medical and then their interview, and others, the other way round. It depends on: a) the type of visa b) the first letter of your surname. It does take about 10 mins to walk between the two ... take an umbrella (I got soaked both times going for my K-3 and subsequently my immigrant visa). Can help u on the hotels though. You could try plugging in the two addresses into: www.streetmap.co.uk and you'll see how close the two locations are to one another. |

Originally posted by John Murray I read somewhere that some people get the interview first, and others get the medical first. I was confused about that, phoned the Embassy help line - got told to go for my interview first. Thought that sounded strange, Mailed the Embassy - got told to go to the Medical first. *sigh* |
